Tara began practicing yoga in 2015 as a way to manage anxiety and quickly noticed how effective it was at calming and uplifting the mind and body. She soon found Mindful Body Works and committed herself to a regular practice. This led to her completing Breathe Yoga’s 200 hour teacher training program in 2018. After a period of 5 days a week intense ashtanga/vinyasa practice, she has since adjusted her activities to incorporate weight training and running. She remains committed to a 3 times per week yoga practice with an expanded view to seeing yoga as a foundation for daily movement rather than something that happen solely on the mat.
After practicing at many studios in Toronto she realized that MBW was her favourite and is very happy to be back, as a student and now as an instructor. She finds the community open, welcoming and the energy always positive. |
