   Sean Hoy


Athletics and physical activity define Sean's approach to a balanced and healthy lifestyle.  He has been a competitive soccer player, a triathlete, a competitive swimmer, a road bike racer, and long distance walker and hiker. He is a practicing martial artist and holds a second-degree black belt in Shintani Wado Kai Karate.  He has been practicing yoga for 10 years and completed his yoga teacher training in 2019 studying under Christine Felstead.  Sean's yoga practice is influenced by his interest in strength and mobility and explores movement through a diversity of approaches and athletic practices.  As a recently retired firefighter relocated to Toronto Sean is excited about the opportunity to join Mindful Bodyworks community of instructors.
