Vani Kennedy
Vani has always been inquisitive about how things relate to one another, and how people create the world by how they live their lives. She started in journalism, moved on to corporate ethics and public education, and then fell in love with Yoga where she found the perfect combination of individual experience within a collective of like-minded beings. Her own practice led her to her teachers, Sharon Gannon and David Live (co-founders of the Jivamukti Yoga method), who inspired her to begin teaching to share what she'd been given with others.
Vani has been teaching since 2003, and is an Advanced Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher; she has also studied Yoga Therapy with Susi Hately. She believes that the group environment of an all levels class allows us to feel supported while finding our own level and daily practice. Vani is also a Registered Holistic Nutritionist specializing in plant-based whole foods, and has also furthered her studies by completing the Plant Based Nutrition Certificate through eCornell and T-Colin Campbell Centre for Nutrition Studies. |
