Stress Reduction Workshop w/ Dr. Krista Boland, NP
A Message from Dr. Krista Boland:
"Hello, friends of Mindful BodyWorks! I am offering a workshop on Day-to-Day Stress Management on Wednesday, June 11th at 6:00 PM. I will start off by discussing the physiology of stress, including common stress-related hormones and their effects, as well as the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system responses. Next, I will discuss some of the common sources of stress in day-to-day life, and the different ways that people experience and/or feel stress. After that, I will offer a variety of techniques, which can be used to counteract the stress response, to bring more peace and relaxation to everyday life. We will finish up the session with deep breathing and a group meditation, followed by Q & A time. I’d love to see you there!"

About Dr. Boland: Dr. Krista Boland, ND is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor serving the St. Clair West community. She is a compassionate, caring individual, who holds a safe space for people to openly express themselves. She sees herself as a guide for patients, a coach, and someone whom they can count on for unconditional positive regard. Krista strives to educate and empower people to implement long-standing, fundamental shifts in perception, awareness, and health.
