What Happens During a Prenatal Yoga Class?
Gentle Stretching: You will be guided to gently move different areas of your body, such as your neck, arms and legs.
Postures: While standing, sitting, or lying on the ground, you will gently move your body into different positions aimed at developing your strength, flexibility and balance. Props, such as bolsters, blankets, blocks and straps will be used to provide you with support and comfort while you continue to focus on your breathing.
Restore and Relaxation: At the end of each prenatal class, you will relax your muscles and restore your resting heart rate and breathing rhythm.
