Food is news! Everyday there is a new development related to food! Are you interested in what is really behind “You are what you eat”? Or have you tried unsuccessful “dieting”? Nutrition is one of the key factors to attain optimal health and well-being. But there are so many factors that can play into your everyday life that may be affecting your mood and energy levels without you even knowing it! Lesley can help you make those easy daily changes to lead you to optimum health, happiness and balance.

Most people are aware of what is “healthy” and think they know what sound nutrition is, but there is quite a lot of conflicting information available out there, and it can be cumbersome and confusing. Working with a holistic nutritionist can help ease the load of information you may find on the internet. Each individual has different nutritional needs; an individualized plan made just for you will help move you towards your goals.

About Lesley Beharry
Lesley began practicing yoga several years ago. Fascinated with the changes in her life, she immediately wanted to share this practice. She has completed a teaching certificate at Downward Dog Yoga Centre studying the Ashtanga influenced vinyasa yoga, where movement is harmonized with breathing and intentions. She has also trained with Judith Lasater, completing a Restorative Certificate and an Anatomy workshop on the Spine.
Lesley believes practicing yoga strengthens our bodies, our endurance, and eases our mind. This balance can help us progress through our daily lives with more energy and a healthier approach. This has sparked her interest in nutrition. Lesley has completed her studies at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, and offers nutrition counselling. Lesley will work with you to create an individualised holistic model of healthy living by providing dietary guidance and lifestyle suggestions; that will include the healing benefits of yoga!
