Chrys Muszka
Chrys found yoga in 2000 as a young teenager and started teaching in 2008. His practice has allowed him to train all around the world, (Toronto, Montreal, Guatemala, North India, & Bali, Indonesia), in various styles such as Ashtanga-Vinyasa, Anusara, Iyengar and Restorative Yoga. Chrys teaches with a constant awareness of alignment, strength and flexibility. He is one of the few male yoga teachers in Toronto fully trained in the Anusara Yoga Methodology. Chrys has devoted much time and energy practicing restorative yoga and meditation. He constantly deepens his own practice to understanding how to teach and facilitate the wonderful experience of relaxation and stillness. He believes a yoga practice is to be well rounded with both the vigorous and the resting practice. Chrys paints his classes with care, compassion and life experiences. The practice of yoga extends far beyond the mat and he aims to inspire his students to bring the practice into everyday life.
Beside yoga, Chrys has a deep connection and passion for the environment and traveling. He holds a Bachelors of Honours in Environmental Studies, and has been working as an Outdoor Educator since 2003. Currently alongside teaching yoga, he works part time for the TDSB, taking youth on hikes into the forest, and alongside the Don River. |
