What is Chi Gong?
Learn the postures and mental techniques that activate your ability to harness Chi (life-energy), a skill inherited from authentic masters in ancient China. Chi is the core of many practices in ancient Asia, such as healing, traditional medicine, and martial arts.
Yang Shen Gong (養身功) or 'body-renewing chigong' utilizes knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine and ultimately renews every cell in the body. It is also based on foundations of Taichi, and participants will progress into Taichi after 3-4 months of Yang Shen Gong. Johny is the only person offering these techniques in Canada.
With the right postures and standing meditation, you activate real chi that can be physically felt – often within the first lesson.
Yang Shen Gong techniques include:
The ability to harness and manipulate Chi is natural to all humans and can be picked up by anyone for lifelong use. Techniques are relaxing, systematic, and suitable for people of all backgrounds and health conditions.
Yang Shen Gong also serves as Taichi foundation exercises. This is a continuous series, renewable every 4 weeks. The goal is to learn the complete Yang Shen Gong system in 3 months, and a complete Taichi set of superior quality in North America in 1 year.
